What kind of articles does Online Open Access publish?

Online Open Access accepts original research articles, review articles, short communications, protocols, case reports, survey reports , abstracts, addendums, announcements, article commentaries, book reviews, rapid communications, letters to the editor, annual meeting abstracts, conference proceedings, calendars, corrections, discussions, meeting reports, news, obituaries, orations, product reviews, hypotheses and analyses that comes under the aim and scope of the respective journals.

Why Online Open Access imposes Article Processing Charges for publishing in its Journals?

Online Open Access is a nonprofit organization, that neither receive any subscription charges nor funding from any agencies or institutions. We expect minimal processing charges required for maintenance of the contributed article over internet. The authors are requested to pay only after their article get accepted for publication after strict peer review process. Please note that currently the publication is free of cost.

What are the publication charges of Online Open Access Journals?

The publication charge of Online Open Access journals ranges from $ 100 to $ 400 or equivalent basing on the economy of the country from which the contributors belongs. There are no specific charges for color images and number of pages. It will be charged if you opt for reprints separately. Currently all publication are free of cost.

What is Impact Factor? How is it calculated?

The Impact Factor, often abbreviated IF, is a measure reflecting the average number of citations to recent articles published in science and social science journals, which is calculated by dividing the number of citations in the Journal Citation Reports year by the total number of articles published in the two previous years.

Does Online Open Access Journals having any Impact Factor and they Indexed elsewhere?

As Online Open Access Journals started recently, so we neither have any Impact Factor nor Indexed elsewhere till now. For Indexing and IF we hope contributor’s support and suggestions, so that we believe it will be possible very soon.

I am unable to access the editorial tracking page. How to get access to log in?

Editorial tracking can be accessed with the mail id and passwords provided by the managing editors or else please contact us through the corresponding journal mail id or send a mail to [email protected]

I am unable to submit more than one document in Editorial Tracking. What to do/ any alternatives?

You can either submit your documents through zip file in editorial tracking system or you can E-mail to: [email protected]

How do I choose a topic for editorial?

The editorial can be written based on the research interest within the scope of the journal.

I would be glad to write an article. Is there any particular topic that you would like me to write?

The article can be written within the scope of the journal.

Is there any page limit for writing manuscripts?

There is no page limit for regular or special issue manuscripts but there is a four page limit for editorials.

Are there any publication charges for color images and number of pages in manuscripts?

There are no specific charges for color images and number of pages. It will be charged if you opt for reprints separately.

What is the duration for publishing an article?

The duration for publishing of manuscript is maximum 45 days or earliest, subjected to acceptance under standard peer review process.

What is the different file types which I need to submit for publication of my manuscript?

Editable word file with A4 size page dimension and double spacing is the most common form of submitting the full text. Figures can be separately submitted as image files with good resolution. You may go to manuscript submission guidelines for detailed layout and checklist prior to submission.

Is there any specification for graphical content of my manuscript?

The minimum resolution of the image files should be 300 pixels per inch. Artwork should open with Microsoft word file.

How to obtain reprints for the published article?

The corresponding author of the article, after making a requisition, will receive an electronic .PDF version of the article. These e-prints can be used for personal archiving in scientific community, sharing, distribution and printing.

How do I know which journal is suitable for my manuscript?

The authors are encouraged to refer to the subject guide for finalizing their journal of interest. Alternately the tile and abstract of the manuscript can be forwarded to us and we will be glad to help you in ascertaining the most suitable journal for you. Authors also can check the Aim & Scope of the Journals for details.

What is the procedure to obtain permission for the reuse of the published content?

The first author of the published article holds the copyright of the content. Since the articles are published under gold open access mode, the reuse of the content depends on the user license. The original contributor needs to be properly acknowledged by citing the article or hyperlinking. The content cannot be used for commercial purpose.
